Sacred Hand Canada

SacredHand Canada is a Canadian registered non-profit organization that focuses on promoting greater access to food, non-perishables and basic essential items for communities in need. Established by a network of women and youth, the organization serves both Canadian domestic as well as international beneficiaries from low-income, impoverished and marginalized backgrounds. Founded in Ontario, Canada, the organization fulfills the nutritional and provisional needs of all qualifying individuals. This is accomplished strictly without the consideration of race, gender, religion, age, status or background. SacredHand Canada’s operations are uniquely volunteer run. Collective action is utilized at the local level to effect positive change in the lives of others. Our organization operates food bank services on the front-line, supplying food and hygiene kits to mostly single-family units, the elderly, refugees, persons living with disabilities and people with limited mobility. Provisional items and hot meals are also supplied to people living in local registered shelters and long term care homes. SacredHand Canada is always involved in emergency relief efforts during crisis times. Relying on diverse skill sets, our team of volunteers and donor networks have successfully responded to several dire circumstances and challenging moments experienced by communities in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
