Safety Labs's Anchor is created with one purpose, to safeguard, protect and monitor safety of people who need it the most- our elderly, people with Alzheimer's and families with children with Autism. More and more people are crossing the age of 75 are choosing to live alone not wanting to move into old age retirements homes. Alzheimer is causing enormous stress in the US economy, cost of caring for Alzheimer’s 5.3 million patients (i.e. 1-in-9 Americans over 65) in the U.S. is estimated to be $226 billion in 2015. This is expected grow i.e. when the first wave of baby boomers reaches age 85 (in 2031), it is projected that more than 3 million people age 85 and older will have Alzheimer’s. Half of all Autistic children have a tendency to wander away and today estimated at 1 in 68 births is an autistic child which is 3.5 million Americans today. Anchor is the first product in the market which creates a cost effective infrastructure for DIY (Do It Yourself) to help people manage their own safety. It enables family members to take care of their loved ones by connecting them.
