Safetydeed

SafetyDeed prevents seniors from losing their homes through fraud, abuse, and poor decision making caused by inexperience or diminished financial capacity. It was developed by lawyers and cybersecurity experts—aided by a small group of advisors—who began working on the problem long before fintech and the cloud existed. Our first advisor was Kamala Harris, when she was San Francisco District Attorney. The second is an elder law expert and former member of the Federal Reserve Board’s Consumer Advisory Council. Another is a Supreme Court litigator and bankruptcy expert whom Elizabeth Warren introduced us to while she was still at Harvard. Our system is strong enough to defeat bona fide purchaser and holder in due course defenses. This means that even if a client were to sign a fraudulent contract for sale or mortgage without our knowledge and the home or mortgage were then sold to an innocent third party, our client could still recover their home or disavow the mortgage.
