Dedicated to finding solutions that promote independence, safety, well-being, and dignity of older adults, Russ Jackson SafetyWatch’s founder, and currently serves as Executive Chairman of the company. A pioneer in the Personal Emergency Response Services industry (PERS) with more than 20 years in the security business, Russ started SafetyWatch in 2006 to deliver personal emergency monitoring and home medical alarm services to older adults with medical ailments or conditions who wish to continue living at home independently. Before founding SafetyWatch, Russ served as Regional Director of Marketing for ResponseLink, where he led the marketing activities for the Tampa Bay region. Prior to that, Russ served as a sales associate for ADT and Brink’s Home Security where he was responsible for strategic planning, brand identity, new product launches, sales, marketing communications, and customer retention. Since then, SafetyWatch call buttons have become lighter and more comfortable to wear, and the system’s performance and usefulness have rapidly progressed. By leveraging the latest wireless technology, SafetyWatch allows seniors to call for help from any place in their homes or practically anywhere they travel. SafetyWatch’s MyActive Fall detection, available with both our in home and on-the-go services, features advanced automatic fall detection technology, adding another layer of protection.
