Sahara Sparks

Sahara Sparks is the largest innovation and technology entrepreneurship event in Africa. The event is an avenue for discussion around technological trends and the use of technology to impact the community and drive positive changes. The event also provides a platform for African startups to pitch and showcase their products to investors and potential partners. Sahara Sparks 2017 themed “Towards Smart Solutions” saw over 1200 people attending the event. More than 139 startups registered to pitch and showcase their products and in total 15 regional and global investors attended the event.The 2017 event was made possible by 7 potential sponsors,13 partners from different organizations together with more than 15 media houses covering activities and stories before and after event. In 2018,Sahara Sparks and AfriLabs will host a co-organized annual gathering themed "Innovation in the Data Age" from 11th-13th October 2018.
