Saigonmec

SAIGONMEC is a novel research center in Vietnam with an internationally and nationally recognized team of researchers who have strong expertise on bone, cancer and diabetes research. SAIGONMEC primarily aims to determine and translate robust research evidence on precision medicine into clinically actionable guidelines using a fully integrated structure of genomics, clinical data, digital pathology and data science. Our partnerships and collaboration with academic and health care centers in Vietnam and other countries allow us to maximize the potential implication of the fully integrated research structure in the real-world scenarios to improve health care. Our vision is to be a regionally leading research center in precision medicine with an international and regional reputation, ultimately contributing to better health in Vietnam, regionally and internationally. Our missions are (i) to discover, impart,(ii) translate evidence into clinical practice, and disseminate research results to the public into prevention, diagnosis and treatment of noncommunicable diseases. Our aim is to provide the right prevention to the right individuals at the right time.
