Past projects include Telewest's prestigious blueyonder broadband showcase site; the crucial /info site, which recruits new broadband customers. Other projects encompass DTV Site Design and build, Content Management Strategy and Implementation, and Print work. Developing a strong concept is the first and most important step in designing and producing a website. The concept guides every decision. If the site's basic idea is not solid or is without a strong point of view, the resulting site will be soft and unfocussed. Developing a strong concept is the hardest but often most exciting stage of building a site, and it's not something I give short shrift to. I give our clients a combination of focussed questioning and brainstorming. I examine the audience and competition together and conduct technical and design research. Finally, I define a concept that fits the constraints of time and budget.
