Sakapuan

Established in March 2022, Sakapuan, as a non-profit organization, aims to encourage Balinese women to utilize their potential as fuel to go bolder in achieving independence. We created a tagline,#BerhatiBeraniBerdikari, that implicates empathy, courage, and independence as our core values. We initiated our flagship program, Sakapuan Community Empowerment, which has been conducted annually to facilitate women’s learning process by providing them with some learning materials delivered by selected outstanding mentors, extracurricular activities, and a social project held by the mentee at the end of the program. In order to spread awareness regarding women’s issues, we have been posting educative content regarding gender equity and self-development through our Instagram,@sakapuan.
