Sakar Architects

After working as an architect in Air India for 21 years, Achyut Bidkar established Sakar Architects, to pursue his passion for creativity and beyond. What started as a specialized niche in aviation architecture, today Sakar has successfully delivered over 370 projects across a spectrum of commercial and residential work. The word ‘Sakar’, meaning realizing one’s dreams, and the articulation (संधी) of ‘स’ and ‘आकार’ meaning an expression through shapes, is true to its essence for us. Our design philosophy is simple, holistic and inclusive. The client-centric approach lies at our very core. We believe that functionality and aesthetics must go hand-in-hand. Thus, over the years, we have developed our unique design language and working style. At Sakar, we understand how a project is never just the bricks and the walls, but an abode of lifelong stories, emotions, bonds and years of hard work. Therefore, it is our mission and a privilege to help our clients shape their spaces true to its reflection.
