A rich history, a marvellous tale, which begins in and takes place on the shores of the Mediterranean, at the dawn of a millennium. A true oriental cocoon nestled in the heart of the village of Saint-Tropez, the Salama opened its doors and set up its first tables, already enchanting its charming neighbourhood with its spicy fragrances, its authentic and refined cuisine and its warm and friendly atmosphere. A few years later, in view of its growing success, the Salama set up shop not far from there, on rue des Tisserands, still in Saint-Tropez. An ideal setting, just a stone's throw from the port, around which meander welcoming little streets in which it is a pleasure to wander and get lost, not unlike the alleys of the Maghreb medinas. Two years of sleep have followed the adventure of the rue des Tisserands. A sleep nourished by ambitions, new ideas and dreams, about to come to life. It is therefore a new chapter in the history of Salama that is being written today, this time in the heart of the famous Villa Romana, a veritable temple containing the magic of Tropézian nights. It is in this mythical place that the Salama is reborn, more inspired and radiant than ever. The setting changes, the spirit remains. The cuisine is as sincere as ever, made up of age-old traditions and gourmet discoveries from the East, to be savoured and, above all, shared. Eager to give everyone a taste of its know-how and passion for the Orient, Salama is opening its doors in Cannes. A new establishment with all the ingredients that made its reputation in Saint-Tropez: gourmet food, sharing and tradition.
