MISSION Our mission is to enrich the artistic, cultural,and economic life of the greater Salem region through the performance of classic, contemporary and new works of exceptional theater. WHAT WE DO The Salem Theatre Company provides the Greater Salem Region (and beyond) with a year round, affordable, high-quality, full-service, semi-professional theater program which includes educational opportunities for children; full Main Stage programming consisting of five works from contemporary, classic and/or new works of theater; a Second Stage series consisting of literary events as well as production opportunities for developing playwrights; and a Music & More Series introducing the community to emerging and established performing artists in the areas of theater, music, dance, and comedy.
