بدأ نظام سالك للتعرفة المرورية رحلته في يوليو 2007، حيث تم إطلاقه كنظام إلكتروني بالكامل لتسهيل حركة المرور في دبي. على مر السنين، أصبح نظام سالك جزءاً لا يتجزأ من البنية التحتية للمدينة، حيث يساهم في تحسين تدفق الحركة المرورية وتقليل الازدحام. في عام 2022، تم تأسيس شركة سالك كشركة مساهمة عامة (ش.م.ع) بموجب القانون (12) لسنة 2022، مما عزز استقلاليتها ككيان مسؤول عن تشغيل وإدارة نظام التعرفة المرورية. تواصل سالك تقديم حلول مبتكرة لدعم النمو الاقتصادي والتنقل الذكي في الإمارة. اليوم، تدير سالك 10 بوابات موزعة استراتيجياً في دبي، تشمل: البرشاء، القرهود، جسر آل مكتوم، الممزر الجنوبية والشمالية، الصفا الشمالية والجنوبية، نفق المطار، جبل علي، ومعبر الخليج التجاري. Salik’s journey began in July 2007 with the launch of Dubai’s fully electronic toll gate system, designed to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion. Over the years, Salik has evolved to become a key component of Dubai’s transportation infrastructure, known for its efficiency and innovation. In 2022, Salik was established as a Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC) under Law (12) of 2022, marking a new chapter as an independent entity managing and operating the tolling system. Salik continues to pioneer smart mobility solutions that support Dubai’s economic growth and sustainable development. Currently, Salik operates 10 strategically located toll gates across Dubai, including Al Barsha, Al Garhoud, Al Maktoum Bridge, Al Mamzar South and North, Al Safa North and South, Airport Tunnel, Jebel Ali, and Business Bay Crossing.
