Salis & Cats is an independent music label created by Enguerrand Dubroca, whose vocation is to produce, edit and promote the Belle Époque repertoire of popular French poetic songs, especially the one that made the success of literary and artistic cabarets in Montmartre at the turn of the 20th century. It pays homage to Rodolphe Salis who founded the very first literary and artistic cabaret, Le Chat Noir in Montmartre. Salis & Cats est un label musical indépendant créé par Enguerrand Dubroca, qui a pour vocation de produire, éditer et faire connaître le répertoire de la chanson poétique populaire française de la Belle Époque, tout particulièrement celui qui fit le succès des cabarets littéraires et artistiques Montmartrois. Il rend hommage à Rodolphe Salis qui fonda le tout premier cabaret littéraire et artistique, le Chat Noir.
