Salling Fondenes overordnede formål er ejerskabet af Salling Group og uddelingsformål. Som 100% ejere af Salling Group, donerer Salling Fondene en del af overskuddet fra Danmarks største detailvirksomhed til gode initiativer og projekter, der skaber en bedre hverdag for danskerne. Siden 2012 har Salling Fondene doneret ca. 2,3 mia. kr. inden for blandt andet: • Kunst og kultur • Sport • Uddannelse • Kirke • Medarbejdere • Velgørende og almennyttige formål
