Salmon is one of Portugal’s key suppliers of raw materials for industry. Our company was founded in 1944, and is today one of the last totally independent distributors of our size. Over the years we have grown and adapted ourselves to the evolution and changes in our industry, not only by increasing our product portfolio, but also by covering a wider range of industrial sectors. With an accumulated experience of more than six decades, Salmon has acquired considerable experience of the sectors in which our clients operate. This experience has taught us that we need to approach the market with dynamism and innovation to continuously provide our clients a service of excellence. This has become our work culture. We are always on the look-out for new challenges and markets. But we are also loyal to our existing business and partners, which explains the strong relationships Salmon has developed over the years, in many cases over several decades. Today, not only is Salmon an important distributor to Portuguese industry, but we also manage two important Joint-Ventures, in partnership with multinational companies. These partnerships increase the range of products and services we provide, thus mutually leveraging market share and information.
