Salmosim

SalmoSim operate a fish gut simulator with a primary, but not exclusive, focus on Atlantic Salmon. SalmoSim provides research services to the aquafeed sector and represents an accurate, rapid, and low cost alternative to replace or enhance in vivo trials. SalmoSim can accurately predict feed ingredient digestibility, simulate microbiome dynamics, and can assist with the development of pre,pro- and synbiotics, feed additives, nutraceuticals, drugs and drug delivery. Based at the University of Glasgow, SalmoSim provides a flexible and bespoke service to clients at a fraction of the time and cost of in vivo trials.
