Salt, Bread & Roses Strategy & spirit for the long haul. We support nonprofit leaders, organizers, and fundraising survivors in building sustainable campaigns and movements — without burning out. Our work blends movement strategy, ethical fundraising, and deep care for the people doing the work. We believe in meeting basic needs (bread), claiming joy and dignity (roses), and preserving what sustains us (salt). Through coaching, campaign planning, and collective clarity, we help you mobilize resources in a way that aligns with your values — so you can keep going, together.*A garden, either personal or community, is a living representation of collaboration, giving, and growth. I have learned so much from my garden and from other gardeners, like Ross Gay. The inherent sharing in a garden has shown me how to thrive humbly and with gratitude in community.
