Engaging people with constructive solutions to these problems is the essence of our editorial policy and we will celebrate those at the cutting edge of the debate on how the new economy will be shaped. Why have we chosen the name Salt? Salt is a powerful ingredient that transforms everything it comes into contact with. It enhances the taste of food. It conducts electricity. It plays a vital role in how our brains function. Essentially, we need it to live. And it has a long history of use in purification rituals all over the world. Salt is also an acronym. Solutions, action, leadership, and transformation. Every business will recognise these. To some they may even be a bit tired but we don’t think that matters as we intend to breathe new life into their meaning. Passion. Inspiration. Leadership. Three words that you won’t see printed often in Salt. We don’t need to spell them out. They will be self-evident and the heartbeat of our stories.
