Salvador is a healthy fast food option that provides well balanced meals at affordable prices to workplaces as part of their wellness initiatives. We created Salvador so that employees can eat well, and still have time to do the things they love the most. Salvador makes it as easy as possible for people to be healthy. When we eat well, we can live well. Salvador is a startup founded by Tawanda Manyika, in partnership with New Ventures Studio. Tawanda has worked for McDonald’s for the past six years and believes their excellent operational systems should be used to provide healthy meals to the masses. This is how the idea of Salvador was born. In honour of his grandfather, who passed away due to Diabetes, Tawanda has chosen Salvador as the name of his chain. Salvador aims to be a healthy fast food option that celebrates South Africa’s diversity and creates awareness about healthy eating. We aim to be Cape Town’s favorite place of eating where you can indulge without guilt.
