Salwa Network Association is a youth-driven, non-profit organization established in October 2023 with a clear mission to address the pressing issue of youth unemployment in our community. At Salwa, we are dedicated to tackling the challenge of youth unemployment by equipping young people with the skills, resources, and financial support they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market. We understand that youth unemployment is a complex issue, and through our comprehensive programs, we aim to empower young individuals by fostering entrepreneurship, enhancing employability skills, and creating job opportunities. Our goal is to ensure that every young person has access to decent work prospects and the necessary tools to become financially independent. Aligned with Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our approach is focused on building a generation of young leaders who are capable of driving innovation, creating sustainable businesses, and contributing to economic growth. We believe that empowering youth through entrepreneurship, digital skills, green jobs, and capacity-building initiatives will not only reduce unemployment but also enhance the overall well-being of communities. Our core programs include entrepreneurship training, financial support for innovative business ideas, and job readiness training such as CV writing, interview skills, and career guidance. Our vision is to be the leading organization in youth empowerment, fostering robust and innovative ideas that create or improve decent work opportunities for young people across our region.
