Samane Shifa Foundation

Saman-e-Shifa Foundation (SSF) is a not-for-profit organization with the unique objective of developing an ecosystem that facilitates indigenous manufacturing of cost-effective medical devices in Pakistan. In pursuit of this vision, SSF plans to collaborate with and bring on one platform the industry, academia and all relevant stakeholders. Medical and Engineering universities will be linked to the medical device manufacturing industry to work together for this cause. The initiative will engage local talent and labor, creating new avenues for development and better employment opportunities. This initiative will not only boost national growth but also pave way for enhanced exports precipitating the much-needed push for the country from an import-based economy to an export-based economy.
