The Soceity of American Military Engineers - Jacksonville Post, meets monthly in Jacksonville - typically the last Wednesday of each month. It is our mission to advance the knowledge of the science of military engineering, To maintain the best engineering standards and traditions, To preserve the memory of services rendered by the engineering profession throughout the wars involving the United States, To foster and develop relationships of helpful interest between the engineering profession in civil life and that in the military service, To promote engineering education via awarding scholarships, providing continuing education opportunities and mentoring programs, and To sponsor readiness activities that support emergency response efforts.
