Samifin - Fiu Madagascar

Le Service de renseignement financier de Madagascar (SAMIFIN) est l'entité nationale chargée de conduire la lutte contre le blanchiment des capitaux et le financement du terrorisme (LBC/FT) à Madagascar. Spécifiée dans la loi n°2018-043 du 13 février 2019 sur la LBC/FT, la mission du SAMIFIN consiste à lutter contre les flux financiers illicites liés à des faits de blanchiment de capitaux, financememnt du terrorisme, des infractions économiques et financières et à tout crime organisé. Créé en 2017 et réorganisé en 2015, le SAMIFIN est un service de renseignement finanacier de type administratif rattaché à la Présidence de la République. Ses rapports d'analyse ont valeur de renseignement d'intelligence. Disposant d'une indépendance opérationnelle et d'une autonomie de gestion, il dispose d'une Direction générale, quatre (4) Direction téchnique et une Direction d'appui. En adéquation avec la nouvelle SNLBC/FT, une réorganisation du SAMIFIN est actuellement envisagée- The Financial Intelligent Unit (SAMIFIN) is the national entity in charge of the fight against money laundering and terrorism funding (LBC/FT) in Madagascar. Specified by the law 2018-043 on 13 February 2019 related to fight against money laundering and terrorism funding, its mission consists on fighting against the illicit financial flows linked to the money launderning acts, the terrorism funding, the economic and funding infractions and all organized crimes. Created in 2007 and reorganized in 2015, SAMIFIN ist a State financial intelligent unit and is linked to the Presidency of the Republic. Its analysis reports are similar to intelligence informations. Independant in terms of operations and benefiting of a management autonomy, it is led by a Director General, has four (4) technical directions and one (1) support direction. In adequacy with the new strategy of fight against money laundering, terrorism funding and proliferation funding (SNLBC/FT/FP), the reorganization is currently considered.
