Established in 1984, Sandoll Inc. is the largest cloud-based font platform in Korea. Sandoll offers convenient font services through its unique technology so that anyone can use the font that suits their intentions. Users can freely use fonts from various brands worldwide and implement more creative expressions. All Sandoll fonts are available for use through subscription via Sandoll Cloud, or through separate agreements (embedding, licensing or web-font service). As the first font foundry in Korea, Sandoll holds global-level font production and service capabilities through continuous R&D. Sandoll has been recognized for its deep understanding of the Korean language and world-class font planning and production capabilities. Sandoll led font creation for global Big Tech like Microsoft. Sandoll developed the default Korean font ‘Malgun Gothic’ for MS Office, ‘Apple SD Sandoll Gothic NEO’ for Apple, and ‘Noto Sans KR’ in collaboration with Google and Adobe. Also in Korea, Sandoll has spearheaded the exclusive font planning and development for corporations such as Samsung, Hyundai Kia Motors, Hyundai Card, and LG.
