Sankalp India Foundation

Sankalp India Foundation, a voluntary youth organization founded on May 23, 2003, was born out of a student-led resolution to prevent deaths due to blood shortages. Today, it stands as a symbol of safe blood for all. Dedicated to voluntary blood donation, Thalassemia management, prevention, and cure, our mission is to create a Thalassemia-free India. Care and Management: Over the years, we've positively impacted the lives of children suffering from Thalassemia and other blood disorders, providing them with systematic care across multiple centers nationwide. Cure: At Sankalp, we believe every child deserves a life free from blood disorders. Our Thalassemia Cure Program offers Bone Marrow Transplants (BMT), a life-saving solution, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent access to this treatment. With the support of expert teams and healthcare partnerships, Sankalp has successfully performed numerous BMTs, setting a global standard of care. Prevention: Through genetic screening and counseling, we are working to prevent the birth of children affected by Thalassemia and other hemoglobinopathies.
