Sanko Seiki Co, Ltd.(“Sanko Seiki”) was incorporated in March 1958 under Japanese law, with its principal place of business at 2-44 Kikuchi-Cho, Gifu City, Gifu Pref, 500-8345 Japan. Sanko Seiki’s highly skilled engineers and cutting-edge machines design and produce world-class progressive, transfer, and plate forging stamping dies for the automotive industry. Sanko Seiki employs approximately 81 workers and experienced sales of approximately $10 million in fiscal year 2021. On December 13, 1995, Lincoln Manufacturing, Inc.(“LMI”) was incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. After changing its corporate structure to a limited liability company in May 2002 and becoming Lincoln Manufacturing USA, LLC (“LML”), LML succeeded LMI’s business. LML is a Kentucky limited liability company owned 100% by Mr. Masato Sugimura. The company was formed for the purpose of manufacturing, selling, and maintaining dies used in the manufacture of automotive parts. LML’s square foot facility is located in Stanford, Kentucky. LML currently employs over 110 workers and enjoyed gross sales in excess of US $24 million for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022. In September 2022, Sanko Seiki and LML agreed to launch a joint venture to gain market share in the US automotive manufacturing sector. Sanko Seiki’s reputation in Japan as a stellar die manufacturer, coupled with LML’s nearly 3 decades of metal stamping expertise is attractive for large Tier 1 automotive suppliers in the US looking to diversify their supplier base. Since the Coronavirus pandemic, some metal stamping companies similar to LML ceased to exist, so expansion opportunity arose. The primary purpose of this joint project is to increase orders from LML and Sanko Seiki’s existing customers, as well as acquire new customers in the US. Accordingly, Sanko USA, Inc.(SUI) was incorporated on September 30th, 2022, as a joint venture between Sanko Seiki and LML to carry out these efforts.
