Sao Association

SAO Association runs two Day Centres for Displaced Women in Greece, the Bashira Centre on Lesvos and the Amina Centre in Athens. The focus of the two Centres is to assist women to feel and act as empowered actors in their host communities. We provide professional psychosocial support through all activities offered by the centres, as well as access to information, assistance in rebuilding a support network, and various community building services. Furthermore, we are in partnership with qualified organisations who focus in the areas of health, legal and vocational support.
