Sasine

Sasine is the first entirely handcrafted slow fashion brand born from inspiration to Sardinia and traditional pibiones weaving, with which houses in the Sardinian hinterland have been decorated for centuries. Pibiones weaving is a traditional grain weaving technique typical of Sardinia, made through the use of a hand loom and with which rugs and bedspreads were and still are produced. The word pibiones in Sardinian means grapes, and is the name given to the small rings of yarn (the grains) that protrude from the surface of the fabric, forming a pattern. Sasine is the encounter with a centuries-old, rough and handcrafted tradition and the desire to make it chic, bold and still relevant.
