Saskcan Pulse Trading, a division of Alliance Grain Traders Inc.(TSX:AGT), is a global leader in value-added processing of pulses, staple foods and ingredients for export and domestic markets. Alliance Grain was founded in 2007 on the principle ‘From Producer to the World’, buying pulses and specialty crops from farmers around its facilities in Canada, the U.S, Turkey, Australia, China and South Africa and processing and exporting its products to over one hundred countries around the world. Saskcan Pulse Trading is headquartered in Saskatchewan, Canada — the heart of Canada’s largest production area for pulse crops, with 12 production facilities across Western Canada with cleaning, calibration, peeling, splitting and colour sorting on a full line of pulses, staple foods, ingredients and retail canned and dry-pack products. Alliance Grain Traders also produces a full range of PulsePlus™ food ingredients through its subsidiary AGT Foods in Canada and the U.S. Other operations are located in major pulse producing origins including the Arbel Group in Turkey, Australia Milling Group in Australia, Alliance Grain Traders (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. in China, Advance Seed in South Africa, AGT India in India and Poortmans with sales offices in Europe.
