Plus, Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are just 20 minutes away, so Summers are filled with hiking, fly fishing and boating fun. Many skiers and snowboarders already know Winter Park as a winter playground. It is also home to the National Sports Center for the Disabled, the world’s largest disabled program, as well as Colorado’s longest alpine slide. Beyond the next door town of Fraser, north through Granby, all the way to Rocky Mountain National Park, there is almost every type of outdoor recreation possible.
