Based out of Porto, Portugal, sastudio is an ideology-driven practice, a collaborative of architects, designers and innovative thinkers that operates at the intersection of the architecture realm with social entrepreneurship. The interdisciplinary team brings together a diverse multicultural background, complementary experience and expertise, as well as the shared mindset that we can leverage architecture for problem-solving at any scale. By creatively devising strategies to solve problems that often push beyond the practice’s usual challenges, we focus on impact-driven projects, aiming to prove that through forward-thinking and creativity, design can be a strategic tool to translate needs in smart solutions. By embracing diversity over homogeneity, difference over repetition, and discussion over consensus, we continuously challenge the most standard and conventional ideas by not settling for the present day solutions, always looking for the added value of each project.
