Satphone

We built the thing before the thing was a thing. satphone was an experimental research initiative disguised as a company, or maybe the other way around. Born from a late-night conversation about surviving the apocalypse with bars, satphone explored what it means to communicate when everything else breaks — Wi-Fi, 5G, civilization, you name it. We didn’t raise a round. We raised antennas. Our stack? Homemade encryption, half a satellite diagram, and sheer delusion. From secure messaging in zero signal zones to dreaming up peer-to-peer protocols that make WhatsApp look like Morse code, satphone asked: “What if phones. but for actual freedom?” Think open-source meets open skies. We didn’t change the world — but we definitely disrupted our own sleep schedules.
