In 2025, Aqua Metro was acquired by Saunders (ASX:SND)- a leading Australian engineering, construction and industrial services company delivering multidisciplinary solutions across the Defence & Government, Water, Energy and Resources & Industrials sectors. We’re now known as Saunders Aqua Metro and remain a specialist civil engineering contractor offering a complete range of integrated services to the water and wastewater industry. Our services include the construction of water and sewer networks, pump stations, treatment plants, drop structures, pipe relining, pipe and manhole rehabilitation, and all associated earthworks - including the construction and upgrade of retarding basins. We also support our construction services with long-term maintenance contracts. Saunders Aqua Metro has extensive experience delivering both reactive and planned maintenance works on water and sewer assets for water companies across Australia.
