Mission Stop Meriton's Proposal The Meriton proposal is uniquely unsuitable for the Little Bay Cove site and has no strategic merit. In its rezoning application, Meriton works with inaccurate and misleading facts and figures which we lay open and scrutinise. Protect the Masterplan The approved Masterplan for Little Bay Cove allows for medium-density development, mainly townhouses, in line with the local government's Housing Strategy. 50% have been built, and planning certainty for those who bought into the Masterplan requires that the current planning controls are protected and enforced without any changes. Preserve Little Bay's current local character Little Bay's local character is shaped by its unique coastal environment, rich recreational opportunities and a low- to medium density built environment with building heights of up to 18m. Meriton's proposed high-rise development is blatantly out of place.
