Saving Kidsight

KidSight is dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to essential vision screenings and the follow-up care they need to thrive. Our mission is to prevent vision problems from interfering with a child’s educational, social, and developmental growth by providing free, comprehensive screenings and facilitating access to care across Missouri. We screen children ages 6 months and up, and when a potential vision issue is identified, we work closely with families to overcome financial, logistical, and informational barriers that might prevent them from receiving treatment. Our goal is simple: make sure every child has the vision care they need to succeed. Last year alone, KidSight conducted over vision screenings and referred more than children to local eye care providers for further examination. We are proud to partner with schools, childcare programs, community organizations, and local eye care professionals to expand access and protect children’s vision. Together, we’re helping Missouri children see clearly—and reach their full potential.
