We are Saving the Generations UK. We work with people from all walks of life. We aim to provide care in the form of food parcels three times a week, we will deliver meals to the homes of the aged, disabled and the sick. The idea behind the Saving the Generations UK was born out of my rough life while growing up in Africa. Born into a poor family in Uganda, I became orphan after the death of my parents at a very early age. My relatives, who went on to shoulder my responsibility after my parents demised couldn’t afford to pay my school fees. In the end, I became a street vendor; roasting sweet corn (maize) VISION: An enabling environment for the realization, respect, and betterment of needy people and develop their life to make them active contributor within the society” MISSION: The mission of Saving the Generations UK is to contribute to the lives of needy people, through a value system based, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society NO FOOD SHOULD GO TO WASTE WHILE PEOPLE GO HUNGRY. Donating your surplus can change lives and we make the process simple for you. It’s all about getting your food surplus direct to the groups that can put it to good use. And importantly, the surplus is free for every local cause to use.
