Saxion Xr Lab

As part of the Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the Saxion XR Lab is a center of expertise in XR, game technologies, computer graphics, gaming, and visual storytelling. With the lab, we host a dynamic learning community that welcomes professionals, enthusiasts, students, teachers, and individuals from various backgrounds. Within our community, we create new expertise and insights into these fields through in-depth research projects, always keeping user-centered design principles at the forefront of our efforts. One of the highlights of our community is the development of high-quality prototypes that cover a range of areas, including (serious) gaming, health, simulation, revalidation, storytelling, sports, training, demonstrations, performing arts, and entertainment. Students can work on their own projects or join one of the many available from our research and industry partners. We foster collaboration between all learning community participants and facilitate the creative exploration of ideas to ensure the realization of innovative and engaging prototypes. Our commitment to sharing our expertise extends beyond our community, and we host events to ensure that our insights reach a wider audience.
