Saxony

We are the transfer network of the five Universities of Applied Sciences in Saxony – Dresden, Leipzig, Mittweida, Zittau/Görlitz, and Zwickau. Since 2018, we have been pooling our strengths in research, development, and knowledge transfer with the goal of bringing innovation sustainably into society and the economy. In the current funding phase (2023–2027), we focus on the key areas of Production, Energy, and Environment. Our work relies on modern transfer formats such as interactive events, multimedia science communication, tangible demonstrators (“transfer spaces”), and computer-supported transfer. Our mission is to make knowledge visible, accessible, and applicable – through genuine cooperation with businesses, municipalities, and social partners; through experimental approaches; through practical relevance; and through sustainable, long-term structures.
