Saybolt is the trade name for Core Laboratories' laboratory analyses, independent field inspections, and monitoring and verification programs for crude oil and its derived products. Active in commodity markets all over the world, Saybolt is a multidisciplinary service provider with a primary focus is on crude oil, petroleum products, and petrochemicals inspection and testing. Saybolt has been around since 1898, and was acquired by Core Laboratories (NYSE: CLB) in 1997.
