Experience language learning in a more organic way. Learning languages is about communicating with others. This seems simple enough but in reality the process is not self-evident. Communicating in a foreign language encompasses much more than our ability to ask questions and receive answers. There is a fundamental aspect which is often overlooked in language teaching. When we learn a new language we bring with us our own set of cultural mores, our own structured ways of interpreting the world around us, and this can create misunderstandings. For this reason, I teach courses that bridge this gap and help students understand the ins and outs of the English language in order to communicate effectively.
