Scanbalt Experience

Scanbalt Experience was a tour operator focusing on tours for 18–35-year-olds like backpackers and international students. The company was founded by Kristofer Andersson a Swede who during his backpacking trips also travelled on special tours and “Hop on hop off” buses designed for young budget travellers. The company mainly focused on tours in Scandinavia and the Baltic Region, and the most important destinations were Lapland, Norway and St Petersburg. The main office with most of the employees was in Tallinn, Estonia. In 2019 an agreement was reached between Scanbalt Experience and the Finnish company Aikamatkat. Kristofer Andersson kept the company Scanbalt Experience but in the asset deal Aikamatkat took over Scanbalt operations and most of the company’s staff followed as well. Later Scanbalt Experience changed its name to Sublime Leisure Group.
