Scantec Lab which was started in 1973 by Folke Andersson and Rolf Bosvik has been heavily focused on accessories and consumables for chromatography. The subsidiary Scantec Environment founded in 2004 has acted as distributor of portable measurement equipment for industrial and environmental applications. After the merger of the companies in November 2013, operations are conducted jointly in Scantec Nordic. Scantec Nordic is the country's largest distributor of accessories and consumables and instruments for Analysis & Measurement.
