The South Carolina Defense & Aerospace Network (SCDAN) will bring together many of the America’s largest companies, knowledge centers, hundreds of small businesses, individual contractors, intersecting industry organizations, and Veterans in order to advocate and improve South Carolina’s contribution to these collaborative industries. As a forum for pertinent news, information, discussion, meetings, and teamwork the SCDAN will build on the success and momentum of the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA), multiple distinguished military bases, established defense contractors, and our burgeoning aerospace industry. Where the SC Department of Commerce is a state government entity and CDCA is focused on Charleston, SCDAN will be a symbiotic and self-governed business association for the entire state of South Carolina. The SCDAN service mission will focus on the retention, development, and advocacy of Veterans as a key component to successful businesses operating in South Carolina.
