By studying closely different beliefs and rituals, I realised the common importance of flowers, woods and spices, which are the same ingredients often used in cosmetics and modern perfumery. Beyond a myriad of dreams and an insatiable curiosity, I decided to go on a journey to discover all these raw materials and gain a deeper understanding of their value and symbolism. From Asia to Africa via Europe and Middle East, I organize my trips depending on flowering and harvest times. I visit the plantations to meet the producers and pickers, I search the markets, I explore the gardens. to not only discover and understand more, but above all to experience the many aspects of these faraway scents. Over the course of my adventures, I have met with passionate perfumers, prodigal artisans and talented creators, which by opening the doors of their universe inspired me to share the richness of their cultures while at the same time supporting craftsmanship and local communities.
