Our stores also offer the services of approximately 40 technicians who repair and service thousands of instruments annually. Schmitt Music is the exclusive home of Steinway & Sons pianos, and Steinway-designed Boston and Essex pianos. We also carry the industries top brands including Kawai and Roland pianos, band & orchestra instruments by Conn-Selmer, Bach, Eastman, Yamaha, and and so many more. In business since 1896, Schmitt Music is dedicated to serving its customers, associates, and communities; the company's mission is the same today as it was then – "Enriching lives by helping people make music." Today, Schmitt Music is one of the most respected full-service music retailers in America with 9 locations. There are five Schmitt Music stores in Minnesota: two in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, and others in Duluth, Rochester, and Virginia, MN.
