School Based Health System

School Based Health System works to plan, develop, and manage school-based health centers for our school district and healthcare partners. School-based health centers are an important access point to health care for adolescents. School-based health centers reduce barriers to care such as cost to the patient, access, missed work for parents/guardians, and transportation. Adolescents who utilize school-based health centers have been found to have increased rates of preventive visits and immunizations, improved chronic disease management outcomes for asthma, obesity, and mental health care, and decreased health care costs. Through the implementation of modern medical technology, we empower our medical provider partners to expand their clinical practice to serve school campuses. School Based Health System’s expertise in healthcare management and delivery models allows our school district partners to be confident that their students have access to the best quality of care when visiting the school-based health center.
