What sets SciAfrika apart? We recognised that the conventional approach to education, which often relies on teaching in English, is no longer practical for many learners, especially in STEM subjects, and left them with unfulfilled learning. Language proficiency should not hinder students’ education and ability to reach their full potential and have a great career. SciAfrika addresses this challenge by offering fun and high-quality learning in native languages. This ensures that students can learn and engage with STEM subjects in their home language, removing a significant barrier to comprehension and retention. We are starting with our STEM School and will soon expand to offer a range of specialised schools, all designed to equip students with in-demand and relevant skills they need for successful careers. Interestingly, all our learning will be in major African native language. Your child can learn programming, coding, and data science in Yoruba, Hausa, Twi, and Akan, among others. We want to nurture a community of young innovators who would start making an impact from an early age with a brighter future. We’re building the workforce of the future and reshaping the learning experience in high school education in Africa. With a population of more than 1.4 billion, Africa’s youth hold tremendous potential. Yet, the traditional education system often leaves them unprepared for the rapidly changing world. Our journey begins with the belief that learning should be more than just textbooks and exams.
