Science And Us

Science and Us is a youth-led nonprofit helping students communicate STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) topics and discover careers bridging STEM and the public. We celebrate the reality that although STEM affects all of us, not everyone needs (or wants) to become a scientist or engineer. We're writing Stories of Science and Us, a book featuring journeys and advice from science journalists, illustrators, policymakers, YouTubers, and more. We aim to share Stories with teachers and students across the country to raise awareness of these exciting, fulfilling careers. We've held 2 events in greater Boston, helping middle and high school students create projects—articles, podcasts, art, and more—that explain STEM topics in engaging, clear ways. So far, we've impacted 65+ students and had 18 invited guests from Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Boston University, STAT News, The Boston Globe, and more.
