Scienta Oy is a Finnish family-owned high-tech company, founded in 1954 and specializing today in the development of online sensors for process optimization and quality control needs of industrial clients, typically within resin impregnation, Pulp & Paper, and the nonwoven industries. Our product range consists of single and double sided sensors based on Microwave, Beta ray, Gamma ray and NIR/Visible light technologies. The sensors are supported by a large range of mechanical frames (scanners) for up to 10 m wide web widths. We have an extensive network of partners around the world, including Andritz, Vits Technology and IBS Austria. Scienta’s head office is in Jorvas, Finland with affiliate offices in Jyväskylä and Manchester, UK.
