Back in 2018, the chase up the corporate ladder stopped, and entrepreneurship began with the goal to promote the outdoors, sustainability, and support the local community, but the path forward wasn’t always clear. It was only two years into the new adventure when the world stopped. All the plans for the year were canceled and survival mode kicked in. We had to pivot, be resourceful and do what we could to stay afloat. There was a growing need for masks but at the time there was a shortage. This sparked an idea – We can sew. Stacks of printed t-shirts without a home and old jeans donated from family and friends were turned into masks. That resourcefulness was the beginning of a new direction and just the start to Scioto Made. Jumping forward to today, Scioto Made is armed with industrial sewing machines and in the business of solving problems through design and innovation. Here you’ll get a personal approach, the utmost quality and workmanship and honest answers. We may be a little old school at some things, but that is our strength. Scioto Made at its core is a small business with roots grounded in the outdoors, service and community. Our brand colors represent our passion for the outdoors and continuous service work to make it a better place.
